The Great IBMWR Rat Run was a early Grand Tour put together back in the 1990s by the late Gately Bartlett, King RAT of Internet BMW Riders.
RAT stood for Road Anomaly Tour and it was a collection of odd, unusual or interesting things found out on the highway. A house shaped like a shoe would be a prime RAT Site. Visit and document 20 RAT Sites and you were officially a member of the International Order of the RAT.
